About the Studio

I believe every photograph contains two worlds. The first is the visible world in front of the camera — people, cities, architecture, weather, light and chance. The second is the internal world of the photographer — values, memories, attention, curiosity and experience. A photograph is created where these two worlds meet. It reflects not only what the photographer sees, but how the photographer sees it. That is why two people can stand in the same place and create entirely different images. Photography is never only about documenting reality. It is also about revealing perspective. For me, this is what makes photography meaningful: every image becomes a conversation between the outer world and the inner one.

Photography is my way of paying attention. I am drawn to cities, architecture, unexpected details, changing weather, human traces and the small moments that are often overlooked. I am less interested in documenting places and more interested in capturing atmosphere. Many of the images presented here were created while travelling, but they are not really about travel. They are about observation. A photograph can preserve something that exists for only a moment — a shadow, a reflection, a gesture or a feeling.

The philosophy behind the objects is simple. I believe that everyday life should be quiet, comfortable and intentional. The things we use every day shape our habits, influence our attention and become part of the spaces we live in. For that reason, every object created within Kitsumari.Art is designed to be minimal, tactile and practical. I am inspired by architecture, natural forms and the work of Antoni Gaudí. One idea I admire deeply in Gaudí's work is that good forms feel natural. They seem to belong both in space and in the hand. I try to approach objects in the same way. Not as decoration, but as companions to everyday life. Simple forms. Comfortable forms. Honest materials. Objects that quietly support life rather than compete for attention.

I believe that the world around us is shaped not only by what we build, but also by what we think, create and choose to pay attention to. Every photograph, object, idea and conversation contributes in some small way to the environment we live in. We help create the world we want to inhabit. For me, art is not separate from life. It is a way of participating in it. A way of bringing something personal into the world. A way of transforming observation into form. If something created here resonates with another person, inspires a thought, starts a conversation or simply makes someone's day a little better, that is already meaningful.
